Encouraging Exploration
Creativity on Stage and Beyond
The arts are at the heart of a well-rounded education. Through music, performing arts and visual arts, students develop confidence, creativity, and the ability to express themselves in meaningful ways. These programs encourage collaboration, discipline and a lifelong appreciation of the arts.
Music
From the Early Years, students explore singing, movement and percussion, sparking a love for music from the start. In Year 3, they begin specialist lessons, with all Year 3 and 4 students joining the Instrumental Music Program — choosing either the violin or cello to practise at school and home. From Year 5 onwards, talented musicians are further nurtured through school band and performances. In Middle and Senior School, music becomes a rich academic subject where students compose, perform and explore diverse genres. Beyond the classroom, their talents shine through annual concerts and showcases that celebrate creativity and passion.

In the senior years, Drama is also offered as a subject for the Higher School Certificate (HSC), giving students the opportunity to deepen both their study and performance skills.

Visual Arts
From painting and sculpture to digital design, students explore a wide range of techniques to express their creativity and develop artistic skills. In Junior School, art is taught by the homeroom teacher, before transitioning to specialist-led lessons from Year 6 in Middle School. Our visual arts program encourages imagination, critical thinking and personal expression, culminating in exhibitions that proudly showcase the diverse talents and inspiring works of our young artists. In the senior years, Visual Arts is also offered as a subject for the Higher School Certificate (HSC), providing students with the opportunity to deepen their study, refine their practice and present major works at a professional standard.
