Understanding HSC Results at AISM
The Higher School Certificate is a globally recognised qualification awarded by New South Wales and accepted by universities around the world. Results are shown in performance bands, with higher bands indicating stronger understanding and higher level thinking. Extension courses are the most academically challenging subjects and are taken by students seeking deeper learning.
At AISM, students follow a balanced learning approach, with results based on both coursework and final exams. This ensures students are assessed over time, not just in one exam, while building confidence, independence, and the skills needed for success beyond school.
Celebrating Success
These outstanding results reflect the dedication of our students and the expertise of our teaching staff, as well as the strong academic culture at AISM. We congratulate the Class of 2025 and thank our teachers and support staff for their commitment in guiding students on their journey to success.
